Our Mission
Tinnitus Learning Health Network™ (TLHN)
What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus is a chronic condition that annually affects up to 15% of the U.S. and world-wide population.
For many, tinnitus is a condition that substantially lowers their quality of life and for some the effects can be debilitating--leading up to suicide.
Military Veterans are extremely vulnerable to the condition, with approximately 3 million receiving disability benefits for their tinnitus.
For tinnitus sufferers within the U.S. the current healthcare system is widely variable and underperforms as a result.

What is a Learning Health Network?
A Learning Health Network (LHN) is a scientifically proven framework focused on improving clinical outcomes and reducing disparity in care.
Within the framework, clinical data is collected and best practices result by using data science and quality improvement techniques.
Each LHN focuses on an individual chronic condition (e.g. Chron's disease, cancer, diabetes) and ours will focus solely on tinnitus.
What is Tinnitus Learning Health Network™
We are a 501(c)(3) public charity which advocates for the creation of a Tinnitus Learning Health Network (TLHN).
We raise awareness of tinnitus as a chronic condition, author peer-reviewed articles, participate in podcasts, and create TLHN design groups.
These TLHN design groups include tinnitus patients, key opinion leaders, and the very top clinicians and researchers in the field.
We are currently recruiting tinnitus clinical care sites to join the network.
Join us in this exciting journey to improve tinnitus clinical care!
